Making it Stand Out with Screen Printing
Screen printing is a cost-effective method of delivering bright color to a variety of items. At Eckhart & Company, screen printing can be used to decorate ring binders, book covers, disc holders, slipcases, slantcases and many other information packaging products. We can even screen print your image in four-color process! Let's take a look at a few more advantages of screen printing from Eckhart & Company.
At Eckhart & Company, we have two automatic cylinder presses that are ideal for longer runs and sizes up to 28" x 40". Some large run projects can be run multiple-up to save both time and manufacturing costs. We're also equipped for shorter custom-runs on our semi-automatic custom press. Whatever your job size or production demands, Eckhart & Company has the right equipment to deliver your job.
Screen printing is a process in which a squeegee forces ink through a mesh material and onto a substrate. Inks tend to be high in opacity, which can be advantageous for some projects, but clear inks can be applied as well. Screen printed inks cure almost instantly under UV dryers outfitted on each printer, which enables you to design pieces that require multiple layers of ink and enables Eckhart & Company to produce these pieces efficiently. Screen printing can be applied to a wide range of substances of varying thicknesses-everything from a sheet of paper to a 110 gauge plastics. It's no wonder screen printing is used on everything from magnets to toteboxes to surfboards!
